expert advisors…..interesting (Metatrader4)
I have several trader friends out there in the world of forex, now that I have been doing it for a few years. And some of them have been using Expert Advisors, or trading bots, to trade the forex market using a charts program called Metatrader4 (MT4). They tell me that they make hundreds of pips per day with these things. Well, personally, I am a hands on intraday trader: I like the feel of manually entering a trade, watching the trade, and then closing it for profit (or loss). Does that make me old school?? Maybe so. But these guys pay quite a bit of money to obtain the expert advisor bot (EA) and then quite often the bot will work for a time, and then some devastating loss happens. It concerns me, because why would someone create this EA bot to be sold if it is so great, wouldn’t they just keep it to themselves and make tons of pips with it? Why share ? Good question. But this method of trading forex might be worth looking further into. I have found some very interesting forums and articles on www.forexfactory.com regarding this. Happy and safe trading!
