President Trump sarcastically responded on Twitter this morning to being insulted by the Supreme Commander’s mouthpiece, which called him a “dotard…. begging for nuclear war”. “Why would Kim Jong-un insult me by calling me "old," when I would NEVER call him "short and fat?" Oh well, I try so hard to be his friend - and maybe someday that will happen!” tweeted the President. So, is President Trump just a dotard losing his cool, trying to impress his supporters with his typically combative style? Or is he playing a subtler game, trying to “neg” and get under the skin of a Dictator who has his own people killed for even thinking about disrespect? No matter how well he rewards his tailor or however many vertical stripes are used, even his most fervent admirers will have to admit he’s on the portly side, and all the propaganda in the world can’t change that. Still, the day may come when the two leaders will meet waistline to waistline.
