The iGlobal Annual Institutional Investor Summit continues with a new format of senior level business education and discussion and networking conversation. The primary focus of this years’ program is to illuminate what has happened in the US and global economy and its relation to navigating investment decisions inside institutions with sound intelligence and real practical investment solutions delivered by a team of key institutional investors and select experts known for sound strategies and leadership inside their respective organizations.
We will discuss and we will debate; plan and educate. And if we have done our role correctly, you will be able to engage with those whom you have asked us to bring here. We all know what’s going on out there but what we don’t always know is the substance of the internal discussions and subsequent decisions that investment officers within institutions are making on behalf of their organizations and their beneficiaries. This is not about secrets or proprietary arithmetic’s; it’s not about competition or who has the most toys, obviously. It’s more truthful to describe this as a think tank of ideas and of strategies and of values and, of an opportunity to make sense of a new economy that is struggling for its own definition and how to make the very best allocation of your investment resources that satisfies plan sponsors, board members, and, in the end, the recipients of that intelligence.
The topics of discussion will include 2 separate tracks of learning; one for pensions, the other for foundations and endowments. And, we’ll also meet in the middle to exchange some commonalities of both sides of Institutional Investing.
