Earlier this month Metaquotes Software made some improvements to the MetaTrader 5 platform, aka the MT5, which added the Trading Signals service to the platform. Now, Metaquotes has done the same for the brokers and end users of the much more broadly used MetaTrader 4 (MT4) platform as well. Many of the largest brokers, including AVAFX, FXCM, Markets.com and Easy-Forex, provide the MT4 platform for their clients. MT4 allows forex brokers to give their clients live streaming prices and access to charts, as well as the ability to place orders and manage their trading account.
Since its inception in 2010, Metaquotes has been continuously working to enhance the MT5 platform's features, and the inclusion of Trading Signals essentially put the MT5 platform head-to-head with several of Metaquotes' competitors including Tradency, Currensee and ZuluTrade. But the integration of Trading Signals into the 7-year old MT4 platform might raise a questioning eyebrow for those brokers who might have been considering and are now reconsidering a move to MT5.
Be that as it may, given the integration of Trading Signals into MT4, it makes the already popular MT4 platform that much more attractive and simultaneously much more competitive to other trading signal copy providers. Exactly how the service will compare to similar existing products is still undecided. The aforementioned ZuluTrade and Tradency, of course, had a head start in fixing and perfecting issues that had earlier arisen like monitoring signal performance, cross-broker execution, and handling customer support. With trading signals now becoming an integral part of most traders' experiences, Mt4 is addressing this critical need while maintaining its footing as a leader in the world of Forex trading technology.
