Short Trades
Short entry following some bearish price action on the H1 time frame immediately upon the first touch of 0.7222 or 0.7273.
Put the stop loss 1 pip above the local swing high.
Move the stop loss to break even once the trade is 20 pips in profit.
Remove 50% of the position as profit when the trade is 20 pips in profit and leave the remainder of the position to ride.
Long Trade 1
Long entry following some bullish price action on the H1 time frame immediately upon the first entry into the zone between 0.7150 and 0.7144.
Put the stop loss 1 pip below the local swing low.
Move the stop loss to break even once the trade is 20 pips in profit.
Remove 50% of the position as profit when the trade is 20 pips in profit and leave the remainder of the position to ride.
AUD/USD Analysis
The price is caught in a range between 0.7222 and 0.7150. After a relatively strong and direct zig-zag such as this, a consolidation usually follows.
There is nothing due today regarding the AUD. Concerning the USD, there will be a release of Unemployment Claims data at 1:30pm London time, followed by Crude Oil Inventories data at 4pm.
