GBP/USD Analysis
I was right at the end of last week to see the bullishness ending and the pair switching back to ranging mode. The chart below shows the price looks comfortable between 1.2551 and 1.2620. The British Pound had been holding up unusually strongly against the U.S. Dollar but the British government succeeded last week in winning an indicative Parliamentary vote on exit from the European Union which makes and abandonment of the Brexit process now almost unthinkable. This has resulted in the Pound becoming weaker, and the currency fell against the U.S. Dollar by more than most other currencies last week.
There is nothing due today regarding either the GBP or the USD.
