The best method to identify a classic “price action reversal” is for an hourly candle to close, such as a pin bar, a doji, an outside or even just an engulfing candle with a higher close. You can exploit these levels or zones by watching the price action that occurs at the given levels.
USD/CHF Analysis
This pair fell strongly over the past 24 hours, dragged down by the Euro with which the Swiss Franc is heavily positively correlated. The Swiss Franc is arguably a little weaker than the Euro, as the EUR/USD has made a 1 year high while the USD/CHF pair here has only made a 7-month low, so the place to take advantage of Euro strength is logically by using the Euro.
The price is near a couple of support levels at the time of writing. The first one looks doubtful but the lower one might hold. If the price continues to fall, it is going to reach an area of very long-term support close to the major psychological number of 0.9500, which could be interesting.
There is nothing due today concerning the CHF. Regarding the USD, there will be a release of Crude Oil Inventories data at 3:30pm London time.
