Steve Jobs may have passed away, but there's no question that he will still continue to impact the world, and the Forex industry, in profound ways. On October 11, less than one week since Mr. Jobs' death, Forex.com announced the launch of its new iPad trading application which is available free of charge at Apple's App Store.
The Forex.com iPad app will offer many of the services offered by its mobile trading applications, but while exploiting the larger, more inviting interface that is the hallmark of the iPad. Some of the app's features include:
Trading not only in Forex but also in commodities and other markets
Real-time news and analysis updates provided by the Dow Jones newswire and Forex.com's in-house analysts
Availability of multiple order types including market orders, stop orders and limit orders
Forex.com expects to continue updating and upgrading their Forex trading iPad app in the coming months to meet the evolving needs of Forex traders who trade on the go. The company claims that it has seen a nearly 600% increase in mobile trading in the past six months. Although there are no published numbers saying exactly how many traders take advantage of mobile Forex trading, the trend is becoming more popular daily, as Forex brokers compete to have the most user-friendly, feature-filled mobile trading platforms.
